Do you know that where an employee sustains personal injury by accident arising out of, and in the course of employment, the employer is liable to pay compensation but the employer is not liable to pay compensation in respect of an injury to an employee resulting from an accident which is attributable to the employee having been under the influence of drink or drugs at the time of the accident? Section 2(1) & (5) of Workmen Compensation Act, 1987 P.N.D.C.L 187.
