Do you know that the publication in a journal or newspaper of an advertisement or notice relating to fortune telling, palmistry, astrology, or the use of any subtle craft, means or device by which it is sought to deceive or impose on a member of the public or which is calculated or is likely to deceive or impose on a member of the public, is illegal and the editor, publisher, proprietor and the printer commits a criminal offence and is liable to a fine? Section 137(1) & (2) of Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).
