Do you know that an adoption order shall not be made unless the applicant, or in the case of joint application, one of the applicants; (a) is 25 years of age and is at least 21 years older than the child to be adopted or (b) is a relative of the child and is 21 years of age? Section 67 of The Children’s Act, 1998 (Act 560).
