Do you know that where an adopter dies intestate, his property shall devolve in all respects as if the adopted child is the natural child of the adopter and for the avoidance of doubt an adopted child is not entitled to inherit from his natural parents on intestacy? Section 76 of The Children’s Act, 1998 (Act 560).
