Do you know that except otherwise ordered by a Court and subject to any enactment in force, a person shall not
(a) submit a criminal matter for customary arbitration; or (b) serve as an arbitrator in a criminal matter and a person who contravenes commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine or a term of imprisonment not exceeding 12 months or both? Section 89 (2 & 3) of Alternative Dispute Resolution Act, 2010 (Act 798).
